The story behind the garment

The ACB Jacket is a further developed Hammershark Shirt. One of our clients (known as ACB) bought the shirt and later downloaded the pattern from our Sharewear section. Using our Kinetic Garment Construction method ACB continued to develop the original pattern. ACB then sent the edited file back to us together with a specific fabric, we produced the garment in the Atacac micro factory (or as ACB called it: a 3D printer for garments), and sent it back to ACB.

We like this story in many ways. When we opened up our Shareware section where you can download our patterns for free, we didn’t know what would happen. Now it has started to develop into a community of designers exploring and developing new versions of our garments. In a future where anyone can produce anything you can question why there should be brands at all. This might be one answer.

All journeys don’t need to go from A to B to C. ACB can be a good way as well =)
