The ACB Jacket is a further developed Hammershark Shirt. One of our clients (known as ACB) bought the shirt. Later on ACB also downloaded the pattern from our Sharewear section. With our method Kinetic Garment Construction ACB continued to develop the original pattern. ACB sent the edited file back to us together with a specific fabric. We produced the garment in the Atacac micro factory (or as ACB called it: a 3D printer for garments) where we manufactured it and sent it back to ACB.
We like this story in many ways. When we opened up our Shareware section where you can download our patterns for free we didn’t knew what would happened. Now it has started to develop to a community of designers exploring and develop new versions of our garments. In a future where anyone can produce anything you can questioning why there should be brands at all. This might be one answer. And all journeys doesn’t need to go from A to B to C. ACB can be a good way as well =)
This is our first release of a garment made within the community. Lets call it ATATRIBE #1
