Atacac shareware no. 25

LindXXX top available in black or white/blue printed silk.

The shape of the top is copied and further developed from a vintage Lindex top.
We believe that copying earlier masters or contemporary competitors is an excellent way to learn and find one’s own artistic voice. Such works may become the foundation for development, deconstruction, and reconstruction. See further what Yamamoto has to say on this matter at the bottom of this page.

In its current state, cut from a single piece of fabric the top is constructed from a single piece of silk fabric being draped over the shoulder in the same manner as described in chapter 2.2 of Kinetic Garment Construction. This principal of approaching the body with the fabric dates thousands years back and creates a flattering drape.

As a part of our belief in transparency we would like to share the pattern for this garment. It is free of charge, If you would somehow like to reimburse us for this the nicest thing to do is simply to share www.atacac.com and the patterns further to your friends. If you are interested in developing this further in a commercial setting please contact us and we will be happy to help you out with further developments.

Print the pattern out on a large scale plotter or use the tile function if printing on a normal printer and print it in small pieces and then tape the pattern together.

When downloading you will get 5 different files. A png illustrating the garment, a pdf ready for print pattern, an obj 3D file, a dfx that can be imported into any CAD/CAM software and ZPrj with the pattern assembled in 3D. The ZPrj file can be viewed in CLO viewer and can be altered in CLO atelier.
